The AMH Pharmacy Team is here to help you or your loved one with all medication needs during your visit or stay. The pharmacy team is responsible for ensuring your medications are Safe, Effective, and Appropriate. The team is comprised of two full-time Doctors of Pharmacy and one Certified Pharmacy Technician. After hours, pharmacy coverage is provided remotely by telepharmacy to provide review and verification of medication orders and questions 24 hours a day - for increased Safety and Efficiency throughout Antelope Memorial Hospital.

The Pharmacy Team provides coverage for all of Antelope Memorial Hospital, including:

Inpatient/Acute/Observation/Swing Bed patients
Emergency Department patients
Surgery Department patients
Obstetrical patients
Medication Infusion patients
Outpatient/Specialty Clinic/Ambulatory Care patients

The Antelope Memorial Hospital Pharmacy Team will:

Make sure the Right patient, receives the Right medication, at the Right dose, at the Right time
Oversee and track the use of all medications throughout your visit
Monitor for drug interactions, drug compatibilities, appropriate dosage and adverse reactions
Collaborate with other departments, including nurses & physicians, on your plan of care
Offer personalized consultations on the purpose of your medications, drug interactions and common side effects
