(*Please fast for 12 hours.) The following AMH stations will be on-site for: blood pressures, diabetes education, glucose checks, cardiac rehab, farm safety, weight loss options, respiratory therapy (sleep apnea), car seat safety, home health, hand washing, pharmacy, radiology, wellness (with info for AMH’s “Biggest & Best Loser” Contest), surgery, out-patient specialty services, safety/CPR, telehealth, ambulance services, public relations, human resources, YourCareCommunity and dietary (fruit and healthy snack ideas). Plus, AMH giveaways and drawings will be offered.

Local representatives will also be on-site from Neligh’s Eye Physicians, Weight Watchers, 719 Fitness Health Club, Hilltop Drugs, Wanek Pharmacy, Neligh Senior Center, Elgin Senior Center, Neligh Family Dentistry, Neligh Care & Rehabilitation, Midwest Medical Transport, Cornerstone Chiropractic Center, Great Plains Quality Innovative Network, Antelope County Extension Office, Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging. In addition, Nebraska State Trooper Gena Jones will offer a focus on human trafficking, dating violence and general safety. For young families, free babysitting for “little ones” and face painting and games for children will be offered by area high school students.

“We’re excited to sponsor our health fair right after the New Year begins,” said Jack Green, AMH Administrator. “It’ll provide attendees insights for having a fresh new start for healthy living in 2018. Plus, we’re able to expand upon our exhibits by hosting the health fair at Neligh’s American Legion.”

There will be something for children, teens, adults and senior citizens to enjoy and learn about, added Green. Plus, it’ll be located conveniently in downtown Neligh.”
